Summit Overview

The Government of Ras Al Khaimah has long emphasized the crucial role of sustainable energy in bolstering the competitiveness of its economy. The RAK Energy Efficiency and Renewables Strategy 2040 is an integral part of the UAE Long Term Strategy. The Emirate has a long commitment towards building a sustainable future with an emphasis on the energy transition to meet UAE’s net-zero targets.

Building upon the success of the inaugural summit, Ras Al Khaimah Municipality will host the second edition of RAK Energy Summit under the patronage of HH Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.

Based on the theme “Create and Contribute to the sustainable energy goals of the future,” the second edition of RAK Energy Summit will shed light on crucial topics for national and regional decarbonisation: smart technologies, AI, fuels and grids of the future, carbon pricing, and others.

RAK Energy Summit will take place on 27 and 28 November 2024 at the Al Hamra International Exhibition and Conference Center in Ras Al Khaimah and will bring together international thought leaders and trailblazers with decision-makers from the government and the private sector.
