EmiratesGBC is a non-government organisation that promotes and educates on sustainability in the built environment and is the official Green Building Council for the UAE endorsed by the World Green Building Council. EmiratesGBC currently has around 180 members which represents thousands of individuals interested and involved in Green Building in the UAE and the region. In addition, EmiratesGBC members receive discounts on a number of programmes such as those related to education and training and green building events.

The Emirates Green Building Council (EmiratesGBC) was founded in June 2006, and became a full member of the World Green Building Council in September 2006.

The Bridge Institute is a not-for-profit organisation that brings senior leaders of government, business, and civil society together to make breakthroughs in thinking and action on pressing societal challenges. Global Waste Cleaning Network – GWCN is the world’s largest and most widespread environmental network. The non-profit network is comprised of NGOs, educational institutions, and private and public sector companies, that are active and interested in environmental issues related to the management and reduction of waste, whether solid, liquid or gaseous. GWCN is in particular dedicated to conserving and maintaining healthy oceans, coastlines, lands and the atmosphere for both people and nature. GWCN supports environmental activities, showcases and connects its network members, contributes to environmental debates, and fosters scientific and policy environmental research. 

Emirates Nature-WWF is a non-profit organisation established to drive positive change in the United Arab Emirates to conserve the nation’s natural heritage. ​

​The organization was founded in 2001 and has been a prominent and active partner in environmental conservation in the MENA region. We work in association with WWF, one of the world’s largest and most respected independent conservation organisations.​

​As a local conservation think tank and volunteer platform, we empower, convene and mobilise civil society, government and business to support the UAE’s sustainability agenda and deliver transformative impact at scale for the benefit of people and planet alike.​

Launched in 2009, Dii Desert Energy (formerly ‘Desertec Industrial Initiative’) is an independent think tank and international network paving the way for ‘net zero emission’, secure and affordable energy from the deserts through green electrons and molecules. We aim at accelerating MENA’s energy transition in a global context (Desertec 3.0) and for this purpose, the ‘MENA Hydrogen Alliance’ was launched in early 2020, followed by the ‘Zero Emissions Traders Alliance’ (ZETA) in 2023. 
 
Desert Energy is connecting the regional and international industry with authorities and institutions and focuses on practical conditions along the emission- free energy value chains. Dii’s platform of more than 120 companies and organizations from over 35 countries is mobilizing top executives, government decision makers, R&D institutions and academia.

The CEBC is a non-government, non-profit member organization of leading local, regional, and international organizations operating in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) clean energy sector.  

An umbrella organization, the CEBC offers corporates, start-ups, SMEs, and the public sector with an inclusive forum for idea sharing and best practice promotion in the area of clean energy. Members are drawn from amongst the industry’s key players, including financiers, project developers, and service providers. 

Amongst the most important of the CEBC’s objectives are to increase public awareness of clean energy and technological developments, address the availability and accessibility of region-wide data, and nurture a dialogue between the private and public sectors to achieve our mission of accelerating the development and deployment of clean energy in the MENA region.

Advancing Net Zero Volunteering Team is a not-for-profit platform led by UAE experts with the objective of accelerating decarbonization of cities in the UAE.  

The mission of the Team is to accelerate the transition towards decarbonization of cities in the UAE by:  

• Promoting social responsibility and stimulating positive engagement in climate action  
• Encouraging experts in the built environment sector to volunteer and contribute to UAE’s net zero journey  
• Offering a platform for different stakeholders to exchange knowledge on net zero  
• Supporting public and private entities by providing research and tools related to net zero  
• Advocating for more stringent sustainability requirements in building regulations  
• Catalyzing the uptake of net zero in the UAE through capacity building, outreach programs, and technical projects 

Eurovent Middle East is the region’s only Industry Association for Energy Efficiency, Indoor Air Quality and Cold Chain Solutions. The Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) is an intergovernmental organization with diplomatic status that aims to enable and increase the adoption of renewable energy and energy efficiency practices across pan-Arab countries. RCREEE is the official technical arm institution of both League of Arab State – Energy Department and Arab Ministerial Council for Electricity (AMCE). RCREEE teams-up with governments, international organizations, IFIs and Private Sector via several forms of partnerships to initiate and lead clean energy policy dialogues, strategies, technologies, managing the facilitation of RE investment platforms and capacity development in order to increase Arab states’ share of tomorrow’s modern energy solutions. Having today 17 Arab countries among its members, RCREEE strives to lead renewable energy and energy efficiency initiatives and expertise in all Arab states based on its strategic plan. RCREEE Secretariat has several multidisciplinary teams across Sustainable Energy and Climate Action sub-sectors with multicultural teams diversified across Arab and International professionals. 

The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) is a global association representing more than 330 manufacturers of air conditioning, heating, commercial refrigeration, and water heating equipment. Renowned as a leading advocate for the industry, AHRI is internationally recognized for its role in establishing 160+ global standards and guidelines and maintaining 40 certification programs focused on equipment performance and efficiency. At AHRI, we collaborate with numerous international and regional standards bodies to develop and harmonize efficiency standards on a global scale, ensuring consistency and excellence across the industry.
